Departure from your hotel; and heading South East to the High Atlas Mountains . After crossing the highest pass (Tichka pass , 2260 m), we will drive down hills, straight to Ait benhaddou(UNESCO world heritage since 1987). We will pause here, have lunch in one of its nicest restaurants built overlooking the Kasbah. A walk through the village must be interesting; and discover the history of this ksar.
The site would have been between one of the many outlets of the commercial route connecting Sahara Africa and Marrakech.

Late afternoon; we drive to Ouarzazate (movie city, offten called: Hollywood of Africa). Visit one of the oldest buildings in the region (Taourirt Kasbah). Overnight in a Hotel or Riad.

Today, we drive East through the route of a thousand kasbahs. We will probably cross Roses valley(kelaa M’gouna) where Morocco’s most celebrated Roses used for making rosewater, held every May each year. Next after, you will arrive to Tinghir, known for its fascinating Todra oasis. The road leads us to the Todra gorges, where you will be surprised by its cliffs reaching 300 m in places. Here, you’ll be able to walk, take beatiful pictures, and enjoying fresh air along the gorges animated by a natural spring that transformed this place in heaven on earth. We will probabaly spend less time here,  and then continue our way to Merzouga (Erg chebbi sand dunes). Just the time you reach to the dunes area, you’ll be welcomed by the locals, get on the camel and venture through the dunes to your camp.

Wake up early morning to witness the magical sunrise, have your breakfast and then get on the camel to ride back to the hotel. A quick shower is highly possible, before you leaving the desert.

Your next destination is Fez, through the city of Errachidia where you will be greeted by an amazing oasis (Ziz valley). Getting to Midelt (apple town) where we will pause, and have lunch. Late afternoon we continue our way, and passing through Azrou forest which is home to an impressive range of birds and wild monkeys (Macaques). Ifrane, mainly known as (Morocco Switzerland) is the next town you’ll drive through before getting to Fez. end of our trip 3 days-Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga.
