As you approach Ounagha, one of the region’s most fascinating sights appears: goats climbing Argan trees. These goats balance on thin branches to eat the fruit of the argan trees a truly unique natural scene found almost nowhere else in the world.
You will also learn about the traditional production of argan oil. After the goats eat the fruit, the remaining nut is cracked, roasted, and pressed to produce this precious oil, used in Moroccan cuisine and beauty products.
